The Clear Fork Valley Local School District Well-Being and Mental Health Committee is being established as a Board committee to support the Clear Fork Valley Local School District Board of Education in promoting mental health awareness and supporting the overall health and well-being of students, and staff throughout the Valley. At Bellville, we have Colt Pride! Every Friday we celebrate students who were "Caught Being A Colt." Throughout the week, staff honor students who were caught exhibiting positive, Colt Pride behavior. Students are honored with a certificate from their teacher and then have their names announced on Friday announcements. They also get to choose from a very cool prize created by Mr. D, and have their photo featured on the screens in our hallway and cafeteria. Attached are the first 3 weeks of nominees!

🚌 Bus Evacuation Drills
Today, Butler Elementary students participated in a bus evacuation drill as part of our ongoing commitment to keeping everyone safe. Students practiced how to safely and calmly exit the bus in the event of an emergency and reviewed the importance of listening carefully to the bus driver and following directions.
We are proud of our students for taking the drill seriously and demonstrating safe bus behaviors. These practice drills help ensure that students know what to do and can respond appropriately should an emergency situation ever occur.
Thank you to Mrs. Wood and her team of bus drivers and staff for helping our students learn and practice these important safety procedures!
Congratulations to our 2026 Butler Elementary Talent Show Participants! These students will be performing in front of their peers on Thursday, October 15th at 1:00 in the cafetorium. Families are welcome to attend. Please RSVP to Miss Jamie at 419-883-3451 so we may set up seating.

Thanks to the Richland County Foundation, Butler Elementary students are bringing Minecraft to life in STEM class—without a screen! Using Minecraft blocks, students are designing, building, problem-solving, and working together to create their own structures.
This hands-on activity encourages creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and engineering skills while showing students that STEM learning can happen anywhere—even without technology! 🚀🧱💡
We appreciate Mrs. Eder, STEM teacher, for taking the time to apply for a grant with the Richland County Foundation to build her STEM program.
Both the Freshman Class and the Senior Class had meetings today which included information on how to purchase items from Jostens. Freshman received information on class rings and the seniors received information on caps/gowns, announcements, and spirit wear. See the pictures for more details on how to place orders.
Snow Trails season passes go on sale on Wednesday. All CF students, families, and community members may purchase passes through us. The discount will be good through December 1st. The high school ski club will also be taking a trip again this year with the resort and date to be determined.

Science Club is taking a trip to the Stone Lab on Gibraltar Island again this year. We only have 11 more spots available, so if you are interested, please get your permission slip and payment in as soon as possible. Open to any high school student, you do not have to be in science club or currently in a science class.
